Aluminum Begleri - Paracord Worry Beads

Overview:

Begleri is a simple skill tool: two aluminum weights set at either end of a short paracord cord, moved and flipped between the fingers in a slow, repetitive motion. It's a quieter alternative to a spinner, weighted, tactile, and small enough to sit in a pocket or sit still on a desk.

Each end is finished as either a plain sphere or a bell-shaped weight, in brushed aluminum or a muted copper tone. No printed branding, no bright colourway, just plain metal and cord.

The design has roots in Greek worry beads, or komboloi, traditionally strung with a fixed set of beads on a cord and moved through the hand as a form of quiet occupation rather than religious practice. Begleri takes the same basic idea (weight, cord, repetition) and pares it back to just two end pieces, making it smaller and quicker to handle one-handed.
